2010 - The Year We Make Contact

But with who?

Who are you connecting with?

The past year opened a hundred doors to people I want to know. And it is my resolution for this new year to take the time to do just that.

Not to read about them, not to follow their blogs, not to hang out at the same places and hope to catch some glimmer of who they are.

But to invite them to dinner and have real conversations and listen to their lives. I want to take in their history and give them a forum for the expression of their goals.

I have made a brief list of those I feel a sincere desire to know, and hope to engage the people on this list over the course of the coming year. I kept it brief for two reasons... 1, to allow me more time focusing on each individual and 2, so that I still have room to add a few more amazing people I am sure to meet along the way.

I hope to learn from each of these people.
And I hope that I can carry something with me that I can later share with others.
